FAQs
How far in advance should I book my session?
Preferably no less than 2 weeks in advance. For the best availability, reach out and book your session as early as possible. This gives us time to plan your session and create the best photographs together.
How much does it cost?
My portraits packages start at $299 (+tax).
50% of the package total is required when booking your session in order to secure your date & time.
When do you schedule your sessions?
Please check my scheduling calendar when booking for up-to-date availability.
Do you only do sessions in your studio?
No, I also offer on location sessions based on your needs. There are plenty of great outdoor locations to fit your vision - from nature to downtown city vibes. I also offer the option to come to your place of business or home if you prefer. This is something we can talk about in detail during your planning session.
How many outfits can I wear?
Depending on the package you select, you can wear between 1-3 outfits during your portrait session. You can choose to have only 1 outfit if that's all you intend to wear. I always suggest 2-3 outfits to give you more variety and ability to express yourself more fully.
How should I prepare prior to my session?
During your Planning Session, no less than a week prior to your portrait session, we will go over details of what you will need for the day of your session. I always recommend clients have their outfits and anything else they may need ready in advance the day before their session.
For men, if you have to shave, I suggest shaving the day prior, to reduce any possible redness in the skin. Do NOT freak out if your skin breaks out, anything that may show is easily fixed when making the finishing touches to your photos.
How long is my session?
Depending on the package you purchase, sessions are between 45 minutes to 2 hours.
If you feel you will need more time to capture your portraits, additional time is only $100 per hour.
Can I bring my pet?
YES! I love photographing any and all pets. I consider them an extension of the family. Please mention your pets during your consultation and we will make it happen!
Can we take our portraits in multiple locations?
We can absolutely take your portraits in multiple locations, as long as the travel time between locations is reasonable.
I recommend the 2nd or 3rd package if you're considering multiple locations. This will ensure we have enough time to safely capture your portraits at the locations you desire without rushing the process.
How long does it take to receive my finished online gallery/portrait print & product order?
About 1 week after your session I will send you a proof gallery for you to select your final photos. Finishing touches and delivery time is typically 1-2 weeks after you make your selections.
If you order prints & products from your finished gallery, the 3rd party lab will confirm delivery time once your order is paid for and processed.
Do you deliver any RAW photos?
There are a few reasons why I don't deliver RAW photos. RAW photos are the equivalent to film negatives, and are unprocessed, unedited photos. As part of the art that I craft, I edit and retouch your finished and deliverable photos to give them that magical touch that is my signature look.
